As a therapist, I am committed to creating a safe environment to assist my clients in overcoming stresses, adversity, or challenges that impact all of us at some point in our lives. My foundational therapeutic practice is derived from a humanistic model that involves creating a healing space based on non-judgment and affirming human dignity.
I hold a strong belief that a safe and nurturing therapeutic relationship is conducive in maximizing healing, growth, and the human potential. Rather than adopting one methodology for all individuals and issues, I draw from an eclectic therapeutic approach (ie. Trauma Informed, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Behavior Modification) tailored for each individual and situation.
If you are dealing with a crisis, feeling helpless, overwhelmed, hopeless, or alone, know there is support for managing life's difficulties or personal challenges. We work together to improve your mental health using treatment modalities that support your recovery, building healthy coping skills, and improving resilience. I am warm, open, encouraging, and direct when needed. Our therapeutic relationship is a journey that facilitates self-awareness and self-regulating strategies that uses our combined experiences, education, creativity, and sometimes even a sense of humor.
Additionally, I offer consulting services that focus on advocating for vulnerable individuals/groups, strengthening individuals, families and the community.
